The Anti Humanities Culture War Is Pervasive Throughout American Political Culture
Rick Scott, the former governor of Florida in 2012 had a task force that recommended that people who major in history and others other humanities fields be charged higher tuition at State University. Kentucky governor Matt Bevan in 2016 said that quote French literature majors should not receive state funding for their degrees. Ronda Santis, a real star in the anti humanities war, mocked people who go into debt to quote end up with degrees in things like zombie studies.
