The History of Cosmetics

There's a misnomer that Elizabeth I was bald by the time she was like 30. She has a very large forehead in most of these portraits. This says it was from the use of the lead that it made her hair fall out. The QE1 wasn't bald. And finally, here in International Women's Day, you get to lay it down. A lot of cosmetic companies were actually named for people.
