The Silent Years

The Israelites were struggling with the concept of how do we never fall under captivity again? So they developed this system of synagogue. Everyone in the Jewish community would go through a first what was called bait saffir and they would memorize the entirety of the Torah from the age of five to about 10. And then the best of those students would go on and they would Memorize the rest of what we know as the Old Testament scriptures, the rest of Tanakh. They wanted to return to the text and create this new education system because they decided that we, we lost our story.
