The Way of the World, Power, Wealth and Civilization

I've always been interested in trying to see bigger pictures and comparative understandings of the past. I'm now embarked on a project that cold take me several years, i'm sure - it makes unintended reformation look like a micro history. The current project, the working title, is the way of the world, power, wealth and civilization from the last ice age to the anthropocene. Can you believe they pay us for this? That's incredible. And the life of the mind, if it doesn't cease to enchant, there really is nothing else like it.
