The Future of Django

In some ways, yeah, it was great. I remember we had one problem with our home page that it was doing a 9,000 to 9 queries to build a home page or something. And so early days you could dig into those kinds of things and make those kind of patches. The great thing about Django now is there isn't that low hanging fruit because it's so mature. But in those days, there was still a lot of work that needed to be done to bring it up to speed.
