Kawaan was trying to desperately get it banned on a movable aerodynamic device. I'm not sure it was actually banned for that in the end. They just pretty much made it impossible to use, which is their way of banning it. But it wasn't really, this is a tactic that technically wasn't banned. It's just the regulations went someplace that it was no longer useful and they moved the exhaust back up under the center line.
