When there's nothing to bash up against, it just passes right on through. Whenever we resist something, what we're signaling is the brain is like, Oh, look at this and I'm getting defensive. And you see this again, with any hot button, you know, conversation is like people defend it to the death because they're their literal area in their brain. It treats us as if we were in physical danger when someone tells us that our cooking sucks. No, we're feeling a tad. Well, the way to do that isn't to fit is to turn that alarm down by being like, whatever.
