Left-Handedness and Other Disorders
People with left-handedness are overrepresented at the top and at the bottom of most spectra of ability. For them, the normal partitioning of functions breaks down. This may confer special benefits or lead to disadvantages in carrying out other activities. Some people who have a low IQ but exceptional memory for figures come on after damage to their left hemisphere.
