The Benefits of a Bursary
Because I was 12 years older, I got to go for free. I didn't have to pay. I got a grant. My total loans when I graduated were about 1800 pounds and I was able to pay them off within two years. But of course, immediately in the act of being given a bursary, you're immediately feeling like you're a recipient ... It will look some kind of attention will always be drawn to it. You know, the only thing that I had to do to sort of remind me of where I came from was to go to the office once a term and get a check and think, you know, thanks, all local education authority.
