Passive acceptance looks like you just let it fall right down the middle without trying to move it. That's not going to help you get very far in the game. Radical acceptance is, Oh, I got this piece. Okay, neutral. This is where it's at. And when I read this, I just resonate with it and my heart just like goes out to this fake person in this article because I've used to be there.
Carl Rogers said, “The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” This is what radical acceptance means. Practicing radical acceptance won’t mean you’ll stay stuck, it's what will fuel the change you want.
