The Fall of American Political Dialogue
President Bush's approval ratings were at historic levels of high after 911. Since then it's kind of fallen apart in a big huge messy way. Even when there might be a common enemy such as Russia even that has fallen apart in American political dialogue these days. We don't even agree on who the enemies are and I don't know if that's because we don't have common enemies or because we no longer see the same actors as enemies.
