The pursuit of duty begets joy. that's a really strong statement the Pursuit of Duty begets joy very well. I think one of the major failings that I adopted as a child is that I always perceived duty to be laborious like if it's fun you're not doing it right yeah no it. It takes an act of the will to say "I'm going to rise up out of what my selfish nature inclined me to at first" and push towards a noble or higher goal outside of myself, he says.
