Rousseau's treatise on education, he called that his most important work. And you can see why because this is his chance to play the role of an architect of the human soul. It's kind of perverse in a certain way. He's really indulging in absolute control over the child. But at the same time, these are the people who believe that they want pure democracy from people expressing their viewpoints.
