In 2007 Google was in two huge international territorial disputes to old situations where like different countries said you're not depicting our ownership of land properly. And so this drew praise online from many Palestinian groups, including the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade. They did not comment, but they relabeled it to a more neutral label to not take such a side.
