Gender Disparities in Longitudinal Relationship Satisfaction and Neuroticism

This chapter explores a study showing women experiencing a more significant and quicker decline in relationship satisfaction than men over a 25-year span, with women's satisfaction reaching approximately half of men's after 20 years. It examines the possible influence of women's higher neuroticism and emotional responsiveness on their relationship contentment levels.
