Lhe cont of man is ased on er source material by iter hoffmann, the early nineteenth century german writer. We have this wonderful, weird, crazy, interesting inventor called spalantani. He comes up with all sorts of machines that are new and unusual. And he has created a mechanical doll, alampia, i think in our days will be an android. It's a figure that looks like a girl, and yet it's fully mechanical, and it can speak, and, as we will see, can even sing.
