The Importance of High Standards in Debates

David Perry: I was looking into Jesuit acculturation when we did the apocalyptic stream. In the movie apocalyptic, they make reference to various Mayan and Mexican deities that are goddesses. He says Jesuits built a chapel to the Virgin where Juan Diego supposedly had miraculous Mary apparition. Perry: The irony of course is that it's really just an appropriation of the goddess worship at that site.
