The Importance of Rational Theism in Christianity
Rational Theism is at the very root of Christianity. But modern preacher will say it is incongruous to attribute to Jesus an acceptance of rational Theism. No part of Jesus' knowledge of God was merely theoretical, he says. Everything that Jesus knew about God touched his heart and determined his actions. And without that belief, no type of religion can rightly appeal to Jesus today.
