Haunted Houses

Humans have been making things to scare other humans for thousands of years. Even greek and roman mythology feature tales of things like mazes a that house frightening beasts. But the idea of a haunted house, meaning a space that is set up as an entertainment that is based on the idea at being scared on purpose has only just emerged.
