We evolved representative democracies a few hundred years ago when information was scarce. Now we have infinite knowledge of what's happening in across the country, so how do we deal with that? We don't have good models for navigating that abundance of information. Solar energy is on track to deliver us abundance of energy. The price of oil and gas will crash as we hit that abundance. So this is why Putin is invading Ukraine now. Because in a few years he'll have no currency left. As a Canadian, I joke the US has to find other reasons to put a war around it.
