Yesterday I taught an English lesson at the British Council. It was all about how to have a conversation with people you haven't met before. On paper, that lesson looked potentially boring, how to maintain a conversation. But actually, in practice, it was so much fun. The reason it was fun is because there were like dialogues, little dialogues. And it was enjoyable to just act out the dialogues. Also to present the examples of what's good and what's bad. Good stuff is all about being interested and asking the right kinds of questions,. Not too personal, sort of closed questions that have a yes or no answer.
