Are We Correcting for Racism?

So suppose, if you think racism is ok, then there's not a problem. Our way of correcting this is always haphazard. But the analogy i make is with races. Many of us have explicit races biases but there's a lot of evidence for implicit racial biases that we don't know we have even but that influences us in all sorts of ways. No, see us correcting for this in a way that is adequate to the magnitude of the moral error. And i could imagine similar things happening with empathy where you change laws and policy so that ampathy plays less of a role.
