How to Make Glass From Quartz Sand
Glass is made by mixing quartz sand with soda ash and limestone. At 1,480 degrees Celsius, the molecules of Quartz are able to flow freely like a liquid. But that's not how you make glass: You put it into the air and cool it more quickly.
