The Relationship Between Truth and Meaning and Theories and Concepts

Pop up is now talking about truth and meaning and comparing these two things. In order to explain this briefly we may first contemplate the table on page 20 noting the relationship between its two sides. The left hand side of the table reads quote ideas that is designation or terms or concepts may be formulated in words which may be meaningful and their meaning may be reduced by way of definitions to that of undefined concepts. If you're fixated on the meanings of words you're eventually going to get to the definitions of particular words which themselves can't be further reduced. So that's the left hand side. Talking specifically about the philosophy that is about words fixated on words.
