Where i advocate is that you create share definitions on only a handful of metrics and compare across functions in your organization. Then there should be a shared blast definition that should be reviewed pretty consistently to make sure that it's still alines withhow you think about your business. Can the most restrictive organizations achieve a faster version of government? Yes, right.
