The Importance of Technical Skills in Sewing

I didn't know anything so it was a lot of trial and error. I made several garments where when I look at them now I'm cringing because I'm like oh gosh I made that and I actually showed it to people. Blind stitch is one of my favorite stitches to do because it just seamlessly disappears, it's like magic. So those are the kinds of things that I thought about when I was doing the construction of the garment. If I didn't do those pieces that I wouldn't have learned how to do better.
