What parents are seeing is that a young man may be bright as you said, but there's two things. Academic achievement in general is not based just upon talent. It's based upon perseverance, it's based upon maturity,. There are a lot of things that go into doing well in school. Just because someone's bright doesn't mean that they can nail every subject.
