The Frontiers of Open Access
I think, I think because a tremendous amount of people who haven't had to think about maintaining a gold OA model are going to be forced into a place where they have to value everything. And so they trade on screw prestige. We're going for volume. So that's one plausible world. The other is that the frontiers and MD PI approach to open access takeover. It will be easier for the more progressive librarians to say, screw it. We're done with public subscriptions.
