The Rise and Fall of Joe Orton
Joe Orton met Kenneth Hallowell at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, London. The pair became lovers and moved in together before they decided to give up acting for writing. Soon, commissions came in from all sides, including from the Beatles. Everything was pointing upwards - everything except Orton's relationship with Hallowell.
