The Importance of Gamification in Healthcare

When she came out of treatment I got really interested in the idea that providing patients with information could be a bona fide therapy. This is where my agency background and my interest in design kicked in because we devoted some agency downtime to exploring this idea. We actually managed to get some money out of the NHS to do some initial prototyping which was phenomenal. With our minimal amount of money we built some basic prototypes and took them into into Royal Manchester  and just tested the idea that a combination of games 3D models augmented reality 3D models could help children engage with their healthcare journey. That's how how Explorer came about awesome it's a funny one.
