What Was Your Experience With House Hacking?
I was 18 years old, and the deal was basically you had to live in the house for a year. And so that's what I did. Got an FHA loan, 3.5% down, got cash back at closing,. negotiated that with the seller, so got 6% cashback at closing. This was before the great financial crisis. This was no magic. But it's not like at the time I felt like I was house hacking.
