Dances With Wolves (1992)

Dances with wolves is both interminable and stupid. It's a travesty that it is one of just three westerns to have won best picture. And amongst the five films nominated for best picture from 19 90, good fellows should have beat it in a walk. There is a what if scenario here worth pursuing. The last film that costner started that was about sex was tony scott's revenge,. released in 19 90, the same year as dances with wolves. This was obviously a back lash to dances with wolves, turning costoner over night into a decorated autour - which would have been hard to take from any actor.
