"I've seen bug's life. I think very telling about the power dynamic benin landlord," says author and tenant advocate, Neil MacIntosh. "They said, there are never just four ants... that was their stance", he adds of landlords who refuse to get in touch with ex-tenants for references. The state is now looking into whether or not this case should be investigated as a potential housing scam.
