Interdisciplinary Collaboration in the Humanities and Social Sciences

I find something interesting in your book is the idea that we have to question the idea of interdisciplinarity maybe. I feel like nowadays when you're applying for a job in academia, they always require you to do some sort of interdisciplinary research. And so out of that, what this also means is that transformation in the world of ideas has an aspect to it that is almost by definition has to be strategic. We don't just mix things together, but things come together to respond to specific problems.
