The Trend to Reshoot and Friendsshoring

Globalization and the globalization of our supply chain was designed to have very little slack in the system. But then we have these catalyzing events that basically disrupt this system that has no slack in it. And as you mentioned we're seeing companies looking to manage their risk. If they can't sell their products because they can't get the component technologies, they need a solution to that. Having a globalized supply chain is perhaps not the best solution. One of the concerns I have though is this disruption is creating new monopolies almost in the ecosystem.
