The Power of Technology for Learning

For the first few years of her teaching career, i wanted to create this vibrant classroom where students bounded through the door eager and excited to learn. It took about four years for me to start to really question whether i had made an enormous mistake. I could not get students to engage in this work. There was more trudging happening. Kids didn't want to engage in conversation or take risks. And so then i just started kind of thinking about at that point how do i leverage the devices, walking through the door with my students and creating collaborative tasks around those devices? So i credit my lack of having a device for working on blended learning is how focused i always am on using technology to connect
