My adviser and was really prepared us for giving presentations, but also to give people feedback ing presentations. So the training i got actually, i mean, this ties well into other topic of public speaking. Even in an academics and eurgin conference is not everybody's an expert on what you're doing. They may be interested. Yo, most of the conference, the conferences i attend are a mixture of academic and people in the industry.
