Do You Get Doms From Endurance Workouts?

By their nature endurance workouts are long. So we're taking fibers that resist fatigue really well and riding long enough to actually fatigue them is going to be probably more damaging than just hitting a threshold workout for a much shorter duration. Same goes with VO2 max. I mean those are really short. Yeah it's a lot of muscle stress but you don't spend a heck of a lot of time there. Not to mention it's VO2 max may seem like and maybe threshold to a lesser degree really forceful pedal contractions of the muscle. And they are but not anything akin to strength training. There's no eccentric aspect to the movement. We're not waiting the muscles as they're lengthening
