Jimilouve used a similar kind of scenario to explain empathy. People with otism spectrum disorders struggle sometimes to understand others their cognitive empathy, but don't struggle as much to share other people's emotions or care about what other people are feeling. Individuals with psychopathy have the opposite profile. They're often perfectly able to understand what other people feel, but they don't share those emotions.
