Opioid Addiction and Overdose

Since 19 80, accidental deaths from opioid overdose have grown expedentially in the united states. Opioid addictions have also exploded around the world. Drug called naloone is currently our best defence against overdose. It blocks other opioids from binding to the receptors and even knocks them off the receptors to reverse an overdose. There are both impatient and out patient programmes that combine medication, health services and psycho therapy.
