The Simpsons: How the Police Catch Criminals by Invited to a Football Game
The police in Springfield send out a thing to all the criminals that they know saying they've won a free motorboat at the police raffle or something about that. They'd write back with their details to claim the T-shirt and would then get arrested instead. It made it onto The Simpsons as one of the opening gags. Could you imagine if all 3,000 people turned up? That would have been impressive.
