CHAPTER

The History of Tinia Tapeworms in Humans

Philogenetic analyses have shown that tinia tapeworms and humans were well acquainted with each other long before humans were mans. About two million years ago or so, early homines in africa began to incorporate me into their diet - scavenging the kills of predators such as lions or hyenas. And when they began taking the odd leg from an antelope or rib from a wart hog, maybe they also found themselves eating not just meat but some of those tapeworm systs. It makes so much more lick once you go through that logic.
