A lot of the common threads were just they never talked about the war to their wife, their kids. I think Americans need to realize that we only have a good couple years left with these men and women. Now you yourself are a marine veteran. What was your military experience like? I had a monetarily decent deployments, no heavy combat. But I did see some death and destruction.
