Is There a Placido Effect?
The magnitude of the placibo effect that you derive depends on kind of like, how quotn quote, intense a placibo is. So if someone just gives you a sugar pill and they say that it's a like an inset a pain reliever, that it may have some degree of plocibo effect on perception of pain. Whereas if they give you a saling injection and say that it’s like an intravenous pain relief, that will probably have a larger effect. The studies that have looked at the placivo effect of e p o on endurance performance or steroids on strength performance, those actually get pretty large blacebo effects.
