Central Bank Digital Currency Is Not Money
A central bank digital currency is not a competing form of currency. The difference is going to be the consolidation of the current ledger network onto the Fed's ledger or their balance sheet. So, whether they're keeping score with something called a dollar or a Fedcoin, I think there's almost a 100% certainty that it's not going to be a dollar and a Fedcoin.
