Carbon Nano Tubes - What Are They?
The current world record in the length of a single nanno tube is about half a meter long. The bond between the carbon atoms in a material like graphine, which is essentially similar as the surface of a carbona tube, is a very special bond and is mechanically very strong. And it also allows the carbon atoms to share electrons and makes the material electrically conductive.
