Once you've completely expressed your phenotype and have damage because of it, it's going to require something similar to transplantation to treat. So the analogy would be, we are only going to test a new drug that prevents liver failure on people who are already on a transplant list, and then extrapolate that diet data. And it's just because a bias, because there's no rational argument that you can really give to it.
