i wanted to test and validate whether this worth working on by seeing if people that i didn't know were willing to spend time with me. I terted an hypothesise an design with mock ups and really a light weight sail deck showing this product. And one of the key learnings that i had early on is to never involve people that you personally know in the custom development process. There's a bunch of interesting jumping off points from what you just shared.
