The Importance of Critical Thinking in Education
I don't think critically can work if you were ignorant of, I mean, just to give an example, the long march in China. One becomes more critical by engagement with the actual complexity of reality. So we need to build on decades of people refining the things that we should be prioritized when it comes to learning about the past. That's why universities have developed cannons. It's a recognition that we cannot know everything.
