The Problem With Harvard's Admissions Office

CNN's John Sutter says Harvard is discriminating against Asian Americans in its admissions process. Dean of admissions William Fitzimmon admitted to the practice, but claimed it was not discrimination. He said that African American, Native American, and Hispanic high schoolers with mid-range SAT scores of around 1,100 on math and verbal combined get recruitment letters. The cutoffs are based on different racial buckets as they try to balance the class for college admission.
